It is claimed that Peaches Geldof is going to be questioned by police after being filmed handing over cash to an alleged drug dealer.
The alleged drug dealer to the famous, Jonny Blagrove, was seen taking money from Peaches who apparently said “I’m going to need Valium tomorrow after this.”
It just so happens that the footage is on the same memory stick as that of the notorious film of Amy Winehouse smoking crack. The memory stick was seized from Blagrove and his girlfriend, Cara Bunton at their London home, during a Scotland Yard investigation into the supplying of drugs to the rich and famous.
It is thought that the footage, taken on a hidden camera, could have possibly been used to set her up and it was also revealed that another two hours footage of Winehouse was on the memory stick.
Blagrove and Bunton were arrested and a list was apparently found containing names and numbers of their alleged celebrity clients. The couple were bailed but will be required for further questioning later this month.
It is unlikely that Miss Geldof will face charges as it would be hard to prove what she was buying on the video, but a police spokesman said “The priority of the investigation is to nail the people who are supplying the drugs.”
It’s not the first time that Miss Geldof has been in the limelight surrounding alleged drug use. In April 2006, at 17-years-old, she denied taking drugs after being photographed at a party using a “bullet” (a device used to inhale cocaine), but said “it was just pathetic. I’ve never done coke. My friends do drugs but I would never use them. This is really upsetting for me. I’m not stupid. Why would I do that in front of a camera for a start? I’ve spoken to dad and he’s very upset, but he’s supporting me.”
Her father, Bob Geldof said “If she went of the track I would go ****ing ballistic. She’s a pain in the **** sometimes like all kids, but she’s all right.”
