Pete Doherty has not had the best of weeks after the boat he and his friends were in on a loch in Scotland, sprang a leak, and eventually sunk.

Doherty was in Scotland to appear live at the Loch Lomand festival, he and five of his mates decided they would row over to the VIP area, but only thirty metres from the shore the leak began.

Adrian Hunter, Doherty’s manager, was on board the boat at the time said,

“We lost an oar and sprang a leak.  It was freezing and we had a laugh. but it would not have been funny if someone died.”

Luckily, Doherty and his friend were rescued before the boat disappeared below the surface.  Lucky for who?

Doherty’s bad luck didn’t end there, he managed to split his trousers mid-set of his performance at the festival, or possibly they had just rotted away, who knows.

I just couldn’t resist smiling when I heard the reports that Amy Winehouse may have had her drink spiked, which is what may have caused her latest trip to the hospital,

“Amy Winehouse’s father is convinced her drink was spiked with Ecstasy before she collapsed in a fit and was hospitalised.”

A source said,

“Mitch is furious.  He’s certain someone put an E in Amy’s drink - and he’s determined to get to the bottom of it.”

You have to feel sorry for the bloke, he’s obviously believing that she really is off the drugs, that girl needs to be forced into rehab before it’s too late.

Rhys Ifans may seem a little too old to be a brat, but I don’t think he’s actually ever grown-up.  Notorious for his bad moods, he last night flew into a rage at the paparazzi while on a night out with Kimberley Stewart, the daughter of Rod.

First, he flicked his cigarette into the faces of the waiting press before attempting to kick another photographer.  Yeah, I know they are intrusive, but he could act with a little dignity, surely.  He wanted the fame and fortune, unfortunately the press come as part of the package!

Peaches Geldof has flown off on holiday today after being spotted at Heathrow Airport.  Last night she was spotted out and about in London with a very grown-up biro tattoo on her leg.

The childlike drawing of a pussy, looked to have the word ‘My’ in front and ‘Do Not Touch’ written alongside. Kids! Maybe it’s better than a real tattoo, that she would no doubt regret when she’s older.

Naomi Campbell may have actually met a man that could calm her fiery temper.  She met the billionaire Russian Vladislav Doronin, in May at the Cannes Film Festival and they have been inseparable ever since.

However, Doronin has already been given the nickname of Moscow’s Donald Trump because of his high-living and his love for beautiful women, so how much would he put up with from the supermodel.

According to rumours, Campbell is planning a party for her man where it is hoped they will announce their engagement!

Amy Winehouse was out on the lash again the weekend and looking worse than ever, so much for her getting her life back on track.

Her behaviour has gone beyond bizarre now as she was seen sprinting around the streets in her dirty ballet shoes, and punching window shutters before returning home in the early hours of the morning, in tears with a coat over her head.

Joey Barton has been released from prison today after serving only 74-days of his six-month sentence for the teenage lad he beat-up in a street in Liverpool in December 2007.

Under the Criminal Justice Act 1991, anyone given a jail sentence of less than 12 months is automatically released after serving half the sentence!

Barton is still on a two year suspended sentence from a separate incident when he attacked a former Manchester City colleague, leaving the victim bleeding and unconscious.

The bloke is just a thug that should never be allowed to play football again!

Pete Doherty attended Yeovil Magistrates Court today, where he pleaded guilty to breaking a photographer’s camera.

The incident took place last August while he was on a family day out before returning to rehab.  He had apparently lost his temper after being followed around a Somerset town, grabbed the photographer’s camera and broke the lens.

Doherty was due to attend the court last week but failed to turn up and so a warrant was issued for his arrest.

I really can’t decide which of them is worse, the press who feel they have the right to intrude on everyone’s life, or Doherty for his thug behaviour, but either way, he is still a brat.

Peaches Geldof was apparently treated for suspected overdose on Sunday afternoon at her home in Islington, North London.

It was claimed that she was revived by a friend who gave her the kiss of life until emergency services arrived.  By the time the ambulance crew had arrived, she was recovering and did not need to be taken to hospital.

The 19-year-old daughter of Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, began having difficulties breathing and her friend revived her.  She didn’t want to go to hospital for fear of her father would find out.

She had recovered enough to attend the London Premiere of ‘The Dark Knight’, where she denied reports that she was under a curfew.  She said,

“I don’t have a curfew and I never have.  I almost a 20-year-old woman and I can look after myself.

My father doesn’t shut me in my room and lock the door.  He’s not even that strict.  He never has been.

We have a happy medium between us.  He doesn’t have to check up on me all the time.”

Well maybe it’s about time he did then!  She may be almost 20-years-old, but she certainly doesn’t seem to be doing a very good job of looking after herself.

Just another sad little rich kid, living off the fame of her parents.  It’s about time her father got off his soap box and dedicated some time to his own kids!
