The new PETA campaign advertisement featuring a barely-covered Pamela Anderson, has been banned in Canada after it was deemed ‘Sexist’.
Pamela Anderson is seen in the poster wearing just a bikini with her body parts named as if in a butchers shop, breasts, ribs, rump etc.
The Canadian-born model is said to have been stunned by the decision after arriving in Montreal to launch the campaign and then to be told that the permit required for the launch had been refused.
Sexist, I don’ think so but how much airbrushing has been done on that poster, now that is wrong!
Lindsay Lohan has been sentenced to 90 days in jail for violating her probation and will also have to serve a further 90 days as an in-patient on a substance abuse programme following her release.
Lohan was on probation after being arrested in July 2007 following a drink-driving charge and possession of cocaine but after just 84 minutes at the woman’s detention centre in Los Angeles was released due to overcrowding and given a three-year probation term.
The actress had an extra year added to the initial term last year after missing some of her alcohol-education classes due to work commitments! Lohan then failed to turn-up at her court appearance as she was attending the Cannes Film Festival but arrived four-days later where she was ordered to wear a Scram alcohol bracelet and had to undergo random drug testing.
Lohan was seen sobbing in court as the judge slammed her for not taking her probation condition seriously despite the actress blaming the error on her busy work schedule!
The 18-year-old son of footballing legend Gary Linekar has reportedly been thrown out of Club Mahiki for allegedly being the worse for wear.
George Linekar who celebrated his 18th birthday at the nightclub only months ago is getting himself quite a name of the social scene which is bound to be more of an embarrassment to his clean living father.
The teenager was seen staggering out of the club accompanied by a group of friends who were helping him to stand on his feet.
Not unusual for a lad of that age to go out and get totally plastered I know but apart from the fact that he only looks about twelve I can just imagine the old line of ‘do you know who my dad is?’!
According to reports, Leona Lewis is about to have a mass walk-out of her touring crew after demanding that only vegetarian food is available for all staff.
The singer has been a strict vegetarian since the age of 12 and has refused to allow any meat products onto her ‘Labyrinth’ show.
The 25-year-old has infuriated staff with her personal views and has even banned them from bringing meat in from outside.
Leona made her views clear before her tour began when she said during an interview;
“The meat industry is polluting the environment. I’ve banned all meat from photo-shoots to the tour itself simply because I don’t support the meat industry.”
Why are people not allowed to have a choice these days, if they want to eat meat then let them and stop forcing your views on everyone else!
On the 21st June in Agadir, Morocco , the International Whaling Commission (IWC), will begin the process of voting on whether to lift the ban on whaling across the globe once again.
