Former Brookside actress Jennifer Ellison has married her partner Rob Tickle in a secret wedding ceremony on the island of Mauritius, the couple had planned to marry in August but work commitments got in the way.
However on discovering that she was expecting a baby Ellison decided that she wanted to be married before the the child was born.
The 26-year-old actress and glamour model wore a strapless Jenny Packham gown and Christian Louboutin heels for the event.
The wediing was so secret that even the couples families had no idea of the plans and were only told by telephone after the ceremony.
“They’re over the moon, they’re dead happy – it’s such a relief. Telling our families has made it all the more special because of their reaction. I’ve loved every minute,” Ellison told OK magazine.
