Former Take That singer and multi award winning solo artist Robbie Williams has been blasted as ‘grossly irresponsible’ over remarks made during an interview with the UK’s Radio Times magazine.

During the interview and prompted by the interviewer, Williams claims that “Weed, it’s such a lovely drug. It is such a lovely drug. But it doesn’t mix well with me – at all.”

Williams added “It doesn’t take much to trigger – I mean, I’ll get psychosis from having this cup of tea! Seriously. The caffeine in that is enough. A cup of tea will make me feel like s***. But it’s just a shame about weed, because I did love it.”

Williams said that his use of  cannabis had caused him to pile on weight and called 2009, The Year Of The Munchie, when looking back at pictures taken of himself during that time.

Understandably he has come under fire from anti drugs groups who see him as a role model for youngsters, despite the media attention already given to him during his battles against both cocaine and prescription drugs in the recent past.

Katie Price

Is there anything left to learn about one time model Jordan, now known by her real name Katie Price?

As if the media coverage of everything the girl does is not enough, Price has informed the world via GMTV from Los Angeles that she is ready to tell her story on the big screen and is currently brokering a deal with film producers for the project which will be based on her already published diaries.

The tell all movie will cover Price’s childhood and sudden rise to fame as a glamour model, covering her high profile relationships and new found glory as a writer and TV reality star.

“I’ve got four autobiographies – well they’re four diaries. I’ve found a producer and he’s already got three of them. I’m giving him the other one and that’s what they’re doing,” she said.

She added that she would not be giving out any information about the film, although that is surely already in her books, but promises that it is going to be a ‘mad film’.

Hollywood film star Micky Rourke is reported to have said that the sexual exploits of English footballers are nothing compared to what actors get up to and in a report in the Sun today suggests that the sexual antics of Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole do not compare to those of leading actors.

Rourke aims his jibe directly at the WAGS of England football stars and says:

“Forget Ashley Cole, his behaviour has nothing on a film star. WAGs get an easy time – they should try living with Hollywood hellraisers.

I once spent a weekend in the UK and had 14 women in one night. British footballers have got nothing on us when it comes to women.

If you WAGs knew what Hollywood’s stars get up to you’d think you were married to pussycats.”

Pete Doherty

Pete Doherty, the Babyshambles front-man, attended Gloucester Court today to face charges of driving offences following a gig in the city back in June.

The 30-year-old apparently left the Guildhall gig with a woman and in an attempt to avoid the waiting press jumped in his waiting car and drove off as fast as he could despite being banned from driving in 2007.

Doherty tried to swap places with his female passenger on being stopped by the police who described the singer as being unsteady on his feet and smelling of alcohol!  As his car was searched, officers also found a wrap of heroine and a home-made crack pipe.  Doherty’s home was also searched and a further 15 wraps of heroine were found.

The Babyshambles singer admitted careless driving and drink-driving at the hearing and was fined £2,050 and banned from driving for a further 18 months.

However, Doherty was then escorted from the Court to the police station opposite where he was arrested on suspicion of a controlled drug.  Although Doherty has had no previous conviction for drink-driving he has 6 motoring offences against him and 21 drug charges.  Good to seen the system’s working then!

Old Rocker

Who’d have believed it, the minute she is dumped by her old rocker boyfriend Ronnie Wood, his former 20-year-old Russian girlfriend, Ekaterina Ivanova, sells her story to the top buyer.

Ivanova is claiming that it was her who dumped the 62-year-old Rolling Stone guitarist not the other way around while she reclined back on a chaise longue for her photograph, done up to the nines, before stating that she is not materialistic.

The pair had been living in a rented mock-castle, complete with tower, until the recent alleged attack took place for which the musician was arrested.  Wood was allegedly seen trying to choke Ivanonva before dragging her along the pavement after a night out, for which she declined to press charges.

Ivanova now claims that Wood has a complete dependency on alcohol which made him impossible to live with as he acted like a child with tantrums.

The Russian has now moved back to live with her mother at her council house on a London estate with her grandmother feeling that her granddaughter should be paid compensation for the hell she’s had to put up with!  Now that is a surprise!!!!!!!!!!!

Here we go again!  There have been several reports recently about the reconciliation of Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil, fuelled by the couple who have been sending each other messages on their Facebook pages.

The couple spent the weekend together after being spotted at a flat in Sheffield, near to where Fielder-Civil is said to be undergoing further treatment at a rehab clinic.

The couple are rumoured to be getting married again in March 2010, once Fielder-Civil has completed his drug rehabilitaion programme and he was today spotted showing off a new tattoo of his ex-wife’s face on his hand.

Everyone is said to be frantic with worry over the couples reunion with Mitch Winehouse reported to have written-up a pre-nuptial agreement ahead of his worse nightmare, to at least protect his daughters money.

Although the couple have vowed to each other that they will not get back into drugs it appears that it was only their separation from one another that has kept them both alive, so where now?  Perhaps they have both changed but I doubt that very much, they deserve each other let them get on with it.

I'm A Celeb..

Former boxer Joe Bugner has recently been a contestant on the reality show ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’ and if I never see him again it will be too soon.

Bugner has now accused the producers of the ITV show as fixing the programme after his departure on Sunday.  He claims that the bosses wanted him out of the jungle so that the blossoming romance between Stuart Manning and Sabrina Washington would begin.

The 59-year-old, was in a trial up against Stuart where the pair had to read codes off jail cell bars with an ultra-violet torch, and Bugner is convinced he was set-up as the bosses knew that he had failing eyesight, leaving him without a chance of completing the trial.

The former sp0rtsman stated that for him the biggest challenge on the show was meeting people as he is a loner and doesn’t really like people, he feels they are boring and unintelligent.  Well that has just summed-up my feelings on the man himself

Pete Doherty

Pete Doherty has come bouncing back to tell us that in October, the real reason he had to cancel his Ireland Tour, was because his heart stopped!

Allegedly, In October, Doherty was on a life support machine at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon because his heart had stopped.  Doherty said;

“Their [doctors'] immediate thought was that it was to do with drugs but it wasn’t, What happened? Well, I don’t know. I don’t remember. I was running into the walls, making steering wheel signs with my hands. And then I just… stopped. My body just stopped.”

At the time, it was claimed that the Babyshambles singer was suffering from exhaustion but now Doherty has revealed the seriousness of hospitalisation, despite being given the all clear the next day!

Doherty is fitted with a device to stop him taking heroine and cocaine, but the singer claims that the latest drama had nothing what-so-ever to do with drug taking.

Katie Twice

As we all now know Katie Price has left the jungle in the latest version of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’ after enduring seven consecutive ‘Bushtucker Trials’.

While talking to Ant & Dec, the model announced that she is also now on her own after dumping her cage fighting boyfriend Alex Reid.

As Katie left the camp she was greeted by her best friend Michelle Heaton, who informed her of Alex’s plan to propose, possibly live on TV.  Family and friends have been advising Katie to get rid of Alex for sometime and now it appears that she has finally taken notice.

Reid announced last week that he was heading to Australia to propose to the model but on his arrival at the hotel where Katie is staying, she informed him that the relationship is over and that she is better on her own.

It seems that Katie has finally seen the error of her ways and said;

“The past seven months I’ve acted like a right twit. I’m sorry if I upset people. It made me reflect on things. I’ve come out of here a new person.”

The girl maybe one of the biggest brats out there but you have to admit she has got guts and she faces what ever she gets thrown at her.   While she’s been in the jungle she appears to have realised that she needs to get back on track and grow-up, she’s a mother now not Jordan, the young, free, single girl that she was!

So was this all a publicity stunt, has Katie Price once again played for the sympathy vote?  At the end of the day, she has managed to humiliate another person in front of the media, does this woman not do anything in private!

John Burton-Race

This week the celebrity chef John Burton-Race was banned from driving for 14 months and fined for failing to provide a breath test when stopped by police before wrestling to the two officers to the ground when they attempted to arrest him.

The 52-year-old, was spotted leaving his restaurant in Dartmouth on 30th October, following a day of drinking and meetings.  His vehicle was followed after it was considered to be driven erratically in the early hours of the morning before pulling into a car park of a pub and the driver walking away from it.  As the chef was approached and asked to give a breath test he refused and became agitated and attempted to free himself as the officers tried to handcuff him.

After being taken to the ground by the officers, Burton-Race was eventually taken to the station where he finally gave a sample and was found to be nearly twice over the drink-drive limit.

In 2007, Burton-Race left his wife Kim, who featured in his TV programme, after it was discovered that he had been having affair resulting in a secret, two-year-old love child.

While Burton-Race was a contestant on the 2007 edition of ‘I’m A Celebrity’, his wife Kim closed his restaurant ‘The New Angel’, leaving a notice pinned to the door which read;

“It is with deep regret that as of Tuesday 27th November 2007 the New Angel restaurant and rooms will cease trading. Please direct all inquiries to John Burton Race”. Also included on the note was Burton Race’s mobile phone number.

After a very bitter divorce, where the chef was ordered by a Judge to liquidate all his assets, which included selling the family home, all of his 42 vintage cars and the restaurant, Burton-Race was declared bankrupt and has asked that he be allowed to pay the drink-driving ban fine of £1,430 in installments as he does not have that sort of cash in one hit!
