Whenever we hear the name Lindsay Lohan these days it’s rarely a good story but it appears that if it’s not the actress misbehaving it’s her parents that are sharing the family secrets.

Today’s news is mainly about the American actress continuing to self-harm with photographs emerging showing the extent of the mutilation.

This week, the mother Dina, had an alleged telephone conversation leaked while talking with her former husband Michael Lohan, claiming that Lindsay was having a secret affair with Heath Ledger when he died.

The parents, who are now divorced, were well known for the turbulent relationship and with her father being in trouble with the law on numerous occasions.  He was jailed in 1998 for a probation violation and again in 2000 for violating an order of protection, preventing him seeing his children.

In 2007 and 2008, despite previously speaking fondly of her family and her father, the actress announced that she was no longer in contact with Michael, describing his unpredictable behaviour hard to deal with.

The 23-year-old, is well known for her enjoyment of the party scene and in 2006 was attending ‘Alcoholics Anonymous’.  In January 2007, Lindsay entered a rehabilitation facility where she completed a 30-day stay but in May of the same year she was involved in a minor car accident and was charged with driving under the influence.  Allegedly cocaine was also found in her vehicle and the actress headed back to another rehab facility for a 45-day stint.

In July 2007, not only did Lindsay fail a sobriety test she was also found to be in possession of cocaine and was once again charged and had her driving license suspended.

In the latest alleged phone call between the parents, her mother stated that she is drinking again and fears that time is now running out for her daughter and that she is scared!

This young girl looks much older than her years and I feel that if she is not given the help she needs soon she isn’t going to be around much longer!
