Katie Price - London Marathon 2009
Katie Price aka Jordan, left fans furious last week when she failed to arrive at her official book signing in Bournemouth for her latest trashy, ghost-written story, Sapphire.
Price’s supporters, had been waiting in the pouring rain for over three-hours only to be told that the glamour model would be unable to attend the signing, many of the fans then ripped-up the book in frustration.
The excuse was that on the way to the appointment, Price had been given a piece of chewing gum which had detached one of the veneer’s from her teeth, leaving her in agony. After finding a dentist that would open for her, she was given a big dose of anaesthetic to enable the veneer to be re-attached, apparently causing her face to swell up.
It was then claimed that her publicist was concerned that she was suffering from the effects of swine-flu, and that she had now been confined to her bed.
Miraculously, she appeared to have fully recovered by the next day and was seen jetting off on a short break with her new interest, cage fighter Alex Reid.
