No Parking!
The former wife of Chris Tarrant, Ingrid, has been convicted on four counts after a two-day hearing at Staines Magistrate’s Court.
The 54-year-old, was initially to be given a ticket for parking her car in a bus stop on Christmas Eve 2008, but her actions were described as “abrupt and rude”. Ms. Tarrant then drove off before the ticket could be issued despite the police officer asking her to stop. The officer then followed her for two-miles before she was eventually stopped, wrestled to the ground and put in handcuffs.
Tarrant insisted that the officer was behaving aggressively and that she only left the bus stop because she was frightened. However, the Court ruled that the officer had been acting reasonably and she was ordered to pay a fine of £2,700, plus £1,200 for parking at the bus stop, failing to stop for the police, obstructing the police and resisting arrest.
She should have been fined a lot more than that in my opinion, why the hell do these people think they are beyond the law. The woman was given millions when her husband dumped her for a better model, that amount of money is nothing to the likes of her!
