Marriage
Perez Hilton, what can I say, someone that call himself ‘Queen of all media’, well the first part was right!
Hilton was one of the judges at the Miss USA contest recently and unfortunately for Miss California, he was the judge that got to ask her a question.
His question was,
“Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalise same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit. Why or why not?”
Well, how dare she give her honest opinion, she answered,
“Well, I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offence to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think it should be – between a man and a woman. Thank you very much.”
So, what happened to free speech, from someone that makes a living out of it, you’d have thought the openly gay Hilton would have respected her answer, but of course that’s only the case if the opinion is the same as his!
She showed no disrespect to gay people what-so-ever, but the ‘queen of ….’ didn’t like the answer and was heard describing the contestant as a bitch and that she only had ‘half a brain’ he also stated that if she had of won he would have been straight (excuse the pun) up on stage to rip the tiara of her head.
Unlike many of the contestants we see on these shows, this young woman stuck to her beliefs rather than give the answer the judge would have liked, good for her, shame on you Perez Hilton, again!
Why Hilton was even asked to be one of the judges is beyond me, at the end of the day he’s just a jumped-up celebrity blogger, who loves to slag the people off that he doesn’t like and of course, he puts all those really grown-up swear words all over his blog, awful man, at least the contestant has some morals.
