Pete Doherty, the Babyshambles front-man, attended Gloucester Court today to face charges of driving offences following a gig in the city back in June.

The 30-year-old apparently left the Guildhall gig with a woman and in an attempt to avoid the waiting press jumped in his waiting car and drove off as fast as he could despite being banned from driving in 2007.

Doherty tried to swap places with his female passenger on being stopped by the police who described the singer as being unsteady on his feet and smelling of alcohol!  As his car was searched, officers also found a wrap of heroine and a home-made crack pipe.  Doherty’s home was also searched and a further 15 wraps of heroine were found.

The Babyshambles singer admitted careless driving and drink-driving at the hearing and was fined £2,050 and banned from driving for a further 18 months.

However, Doherty was then escorted from the Court to the police station opposite where he was arrested on suspicion of a controlled drug.  Although Doherty has had no previous conviction for drink-driving he has 6 motoring offences against him and 21 drug charges.  Good to seen the system’s working then!

With all the drugs that Doherty takes I am sure he has heard of Levitra, it is used for those moments when men are unable to perform in bed, but then again that must be most of the time for him!

Pete Doherty has come bouncing back to tell us that in October, the real reason he had to cancel his Ireland Tour, was because his heart stopped!

Allegedly, In October, Doherty was on a life support machine at the Great Western Hospital in Swindon because his heart had stopped.  Doherty said;

“Their [doctors'] immediate thought was that it was to do with drugs but it wasn’t, What happened? Well, I don’t know. I don’t remember. I was running into the walls, making steering wheel signs with my hands. And then I just… stopped. My body just stopped.”

At the time, it was claimed that the Babyshambles singer was suffering from exhaustion but now Doherty has revealed the seriousness of hospitalisation, despite being given the all clear the next day!

Doherty is fitted with a device to stop him taking heroine and cocaine, but the singer claims that the latest drama had nothing what-so-ever to do with drug taking.

According to a report I read recently, Pete Doherty allegedly confessed to almost committing suicide on the evening of his 30th birthday celebrations.

On the 12th March, Doherty celebrated his 30th milestone with a party at a hotel in Paris and said in his interview with ‘Elle’ magazine;

“‘I had this bash in Paris and it was an absolute disgrace. I just made a bit of an idiot out of myself. I don’t even know exactly what happened but I ended up trying to throw myself off the top of the hotel. I wasn’t happy at all about being 30.

I went through a bottle of vodka. They presented me with this cake and I pushed it in the chef’s face who’d just made it for me. Then the chef and the security guards were chasing me around. I think I escaped unscathed.”

Now is it just me or does it sound more like he had gone onto the roof to escape a bloody good beating, jump or get given a thrashing!

She's Back!

Amy Winehouse returned to the UK on Monday from her stay on the Island of St Lucia where she has been for the past few months.

The 25-year-old, originally went to stay on the Caribbean Island to get away from the mess she had got herself into with drugs and to record her third album, but it seems that the out-of-control singer has finally outstayed her welcome.

How long she will stay in Britain this time is any one’s guess, but there is no doubt that she will be back to her old ways within days!

I have to admit, the brat looks healthier but then who doesn’t after spending months on an exotic island with nothing to do but relax.  Gone are the black, grimy fingers favoured by Pete Doherty but the mouth hasn’t changed.  When she was asked if she was pleased to be back in the UK, the gobby junkie replied “I don’t give a f**k”, doesn’t sound like much has changed to me, still a waste of space but with a tan!

Tattooed Lady!

Peaches Geldof is obviously a bit short of media attention at the moment and has resorted to locking lips with a female friend on a recent visit to a tattoo parlour in Los Angeles.

After recent admission from her former husband Max Drummey that their Las Vegas wedding was solely a publicity stunt, it appears the 20-year-old will do whatever she needs to to get a story.

She also added to her collection of 20 tattoos by having the name ‘Pinky’ inked on her skin, which is believed to be her nickname, I could think of so many other names that would be more apt!

Pete Doherty appeared at the Stroud Magistrates’ Court on Friday after his recent run in with the police where he was locked-up and charged with drink driving and possession of drugs.

The junkie pleaded guilty to two counts of possession of Class A drugs, driving without a license and driving without insurance.

Doherty was allegedly ordered to pull over after the police spotted the car being driven erratically, but he failed to stop, going through a red light and narrowly missing pedestrians as he mounted the pavement.  When he was finally stopped he was caught in the act of trying to swap seats with his female passenger.

As well as failing a breath analyser test, he was found to be carrying heroin and a crack pipe in the vehicle and a search of his home found yet more heroin, never!

At the hearing, the singer was granted bail after a bond of an alleged £50,000 was paid by his manager and was also ordered to stick to a 12-hour curfew when not performing, he was then warned not to take any drugs!  Well, that should do it then!

Last year the 30-year-old spent time in prison after breaching a probation order relating to drugs and driving offences and here he is doing the exact same thing again, not working is it!

Only last week the skanky junkie was arrested for taking illegal drugs on a British Airways flight where he received a fine.

Druggie Pete Doherty has confessed to still having feeling for his ex-girlfriend Kate Moss and has said that he would like to speak to her.

In a magazine interview, the singer admitted to wanting to go along to the watch the Lily Allen gig but was telephoned by her record label and asked not to go as Ms. Moss would be attending and it would take the attention away from Lily.

He was said to be totally insulted by this, however,  he did say that he would probably have head-butted her boyfriend (Jamie Hince) and run-off with the supermodel over his shoulder!

Wise move by the record label if you ask me, that boy needs therapy.

Luke Tittensor, who plays Daz Eden in Emmerdale, was in court today where he pleaded guilty to assaulting a 16-year-old boy.

The 19-year-old actor, admitted to causing grievous bodily harm to the victim, which was so bad that the youngster required surgery to have his lower jaw pinned.  The thug is to be sentenced on April 29.

The incident occurred in February 2008 while the victim was stood in a street in Bolton waiting for a taxi.  Something was thrown from a car in which Tittensor was travelling and the victim responded verbally.  Tittensor is then believed to have got out of the car and assaulted the young boy.

At the time of the initial reports a spokesman for the actor said how worried Tittensor was about the incident and how he could lose everything he’d worked for.

Well, I hope he gets exactly what he deserves, a good prison sentence and compensation for his young victim, he’s nothing but a thug!

Vanishing Act

What is going on with Lindsay Lohan?  Several photographs have been posted recently of her almost reaching vanishing point!

Her spokesperson allegedly issued a statement saying,

“Lindsay is aware that she’s lost some weight due to stress, but we recently did a photo shoot and she ate two full meals.”

This is the same spokesperson that claimed that Lohan was clean just before she was given her drink driving conviction.

That girl needs some help and fast!

Pete Doherty was the feature of an MTV documentary at the weekend and he doesn’t seem to see anything at all wrong with the way he lives!

The singer rented the £1million country mansion in Wiltshire owned by the Earl of Cardigan, after he was told he could not live at a London postcode address as part of his probation order.

During the documentary, Doherty admitted to having had a couple of run-ins with the estate manager and the owner of the property due to it’s condition, but I think after they have seen it now he may get his marching orders sooner rather than later.

The walls are covered in writing and cat prints and the floors are littered with everything else you can imagine.  As well as him living their he also has thirteen cats which use dirty litter trays seen in various rooms throughout.  He is one filthy, dirty bast**d!

Probably a very nice man, but I would have to be paid a lot more than that to have to sit opposite him to have dinner, and then I don’t think I could actually eat!

The former, so-called singer, has allegedly had her bank account frozen and is not even allowed to own a credit card, so how she is actually going to cough up the money is any one’s guess.

Skanky Pete Doherty proves what a complete W***er he is on the latest MTV Reality TV documentary, but at least he can do a cartwheel by himself, although not without putting his hand in a pile of s**t, surprisingly he wiped it off on the grass, not down the front of his trousers!

Pete Doherty has not had the best of weeks after the boat he and his friends were in on a loch in Scotland, sprang a leak, and eventually sunk.

Doherty was in Scotland to appear live at the Loch Lomand festival, he and five of his mates decided they would row over to the VIP area, but only thirty metres from the shore the leak began.

Adrian Hunter, Doherty’s manager, was on board the boat at the time said,

“We lost an oar and sprang a leak.  It was freezing and we had a laugh. but it would not have been funny if someone died.”

Luckily, Doherty and his friend were rescued before the boat disappeared below the surface.  Lucky for who?

Doherty’s bad luck didn’t end there, he managed to split his trousers mid-set of his performance at the festival, or possibly they had just rotted away, who knows.

The incident took place last August while he was on a family day out before returning to rehab.  He had apparently lost his temper after being followed around a Somerset town, grabbed the photographer’s camera and broke the lens.

Doherty was due to attend the court last week but failed to turn up and so a warrant was issued for his arrest.

I really can’t decide which of them is worse, the press who feel they have the right to intrude on everyone’s life, or Doherty for his thug behaviour, but either way, he is still a brat.
